In september wordt de herinrichting van de Gamerschepoort gerealiseerd \u2013 het sluitstuk van de visie <em>Van Waal tot Waal<\/em>, en de kroon op het werk van dit lange traject.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\">Sinds 2014 werkt BoschSlabbers aan een plan dat de vesting inzet als levend stadslandschap. De voorbije jaren zijn vijf bolwerken gerestaureerd, nieuwe beplantingen aangelegd, zichtlijnen hersteld en recreatieve functies versterkt. Een beheerplan met concrete onderhoudsprofielen waarborgt de kwaliteit op lange termijn. Het verhaal komt tot leven, van Waal tot Waal.
