De twee\u00ebnhalve kilometer lange verkeersas vormt het sluitstuk van de RijnlandRoute en doorkruist drie kenmerkende gebieden: het open polderlandschap, de Groene Kamer als ecologische overgangszone, en het stedelijke Lammenschanspark.<\/p>\n<p>BoschSlabbers werkte samen met ZJA Architects &amp; Engineers in opdracht van Boskalis Nederland aan een zorgvuldig ingepast ontwerp waarin infrastructuur, landschap en ecologie samenkomen en de nieuwe stadspoort van Leiden De Europaweg combineert op die manier een complexe verkeerskundige ingreep met een aantrekkelijk en veilig park voor wandelaars en fietsers.<\/p>\n<p>Een circulaire aanpak staat in het ontwerp centraal. Zo worden voor het nieuwe metselwerk meer dan 300.000 bakstenen hergebruikt \u2013 afkomstig van sloopwerken in de omgeving. toekomstbestendig en betekenisvol ontwerp.<\/p>\n<p>Uniek aan dit project is dat we als landschapsarchitecten ook tijdens de uitvoering nauw betrokken blijven. Zo wordt tot en met de oplevering de ruimtelijke kwaliteit van landschap en architectuur gewaarborgd.<\/p>\n<p>De uitvoering is inmiddels gestart, de voltooiing wordt eind 2027
