Drachten<\/h2>\n<p>Het Drachtster Raadhuisplein is een langgerekte, stenige parkeerruimte met veel wind en weinig beschutting. Met bankjes en plantenbakken werd het plein tijdelijk opgesmukt, maar toch \u2013 het blijft vooral een doorgangsruimte om van A naar B te gaan, geen plek om gezellig te vertoeven.<\/p>\n<p>In opdracht van de gemeente Smallingerland onderzochten we hoe het plein kan transformeren tot de nieuwe huiskamer van het centrum: een plek waar ontmoeting en ontspanning centraal staan, en die ruimte biedt voor markten en In twee werkgroepen ontwikkelden we drie modellen op basis van dezelfde tien gouden regels: een breed gedragen fundament voor een plein dat klopt in schaal, routing, verblijf en sfeer.<\/p>\n<p><b>Model 1<\/b> voegt een rijk bladerdak toe met een verhoogd grasplateau rond de entree van de parkeergarage. publieksverkiezing. Met 1358 stemmen werd model 3 gekozen als voorkeursontwerp.<\/p>\n<p>Het schetsontwerp, dat het Raadhuisplein omtovert tot een intieme groene binnenwereld, vormt nu de basis voor verdere uitwerking \u2013 van voorlopig ontwerp naar definitief ontwerp, gevolgd door aanbesteding en realisatie. Oplevering van de nieuwe Drachtster huiskamer staat gepland voor
